Planning Validation Help
Need help with a planning application?
Drawings not in the right format?
Need scale site and location plans?
Planning validation is the initial administrative step where a local authority checks if a planning application is complete and contains all the required information and documents before it can be officially registered and processed. It is not about whether the proposed plans are acceptable, but rather a technical check to ensure the application is correctly made and contains everything needed, such as drawings, forms, and any other specific reports.

Often, a simple elevation drawing or a 1::1250 scale location plan is all you need in addition to your other drawings to get your application validated.

Ownership certificates and scale site and location plans are required for all applications. Floorplans, elevation drawings, site sections and roof plans are required as necessary to describe the development.
We can quickly provide you with documents that meet the validation criteria.
We can normally produce cost-effective drawings in a matter of days that you can submit to support your application.
